- Distinguished Teacher
- Distinguished Service
- Pioneer in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology

The Awards Subcommittee will meet in November 2008 to consider candidates and recommend recipients to the Board of Trustees for approval. Award recipients will be recognized in May at Heart Rhythm 2009 in Boston, MA.
In making your recommendations, please be aware of the following requirements:
- Any Heart Rhythm Society member in good standing may submit a nomination.
- Only Heart Rhythm Society members are eligible to be nominated for the Distinguished Scientist Award and the Distinguished Teacher Award.
- Both Heart Rhythm Society members and non-members are eligible to be nominated for the Distinguished Service Award and the Pioneer in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology Award.
- The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding service to the Society exclusively.
- Members of the Governance Committee and the Awards Subcommittee are ineligible to be nominated.
- Award nominations remain active for three years after the date of the initial submission; if you have submitted a nomination since 2005, your nomination is on file and there is no need to resubmit.
The deadline for award nominations has been extended to Monday, October 6, 2008. Questions should be directed to awards@HRSonline.org.
