The Heart Rhythm Society, as part of its AF Disease State Initiative*, has developed a pocket guide, Managing the Patient with Atrial Fibrillation. This Pocket Guide was updated in April 2012.

The pocket guide, edited by Stephen R. Shorofsky, MD, PhD, was adapted from the from the latest guidelines from ACC, ESC, and HRS on the management of patients with atrial fibrillation. This quick reference guide is intended to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with AF.
