In order to promote research training in either basic or clinical electrophysiology, Heart Rhythm Society offers full-year, post-doctoral fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology. All individuals seeking specialty education and experience in the early phase of their research training are encouraged to apply.

HRS Policy Statement


Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Curriculum: Update 2011 (August 2011) Download CCEP Fellowship Policy Statement (PDF, 585K) Endorsed by the Heart Rhythm Society in May 2011. This update is focused on what a practicing electrophysiologist will need in the care of patients. It is not meant to be a mandatory education requirement or to supplant ABIM or ACGME requirements.

HRS Research Fellowships


The Heart Rhythm Society has established post-doctoral fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology to encourage research training for individuals interested in basic or clinical research related to heart rhythm issues. Learn more »

Program Directors Center


The Program Directors Center provides users with documents created by the Society's Clinical and Research Training Committee to assist CCEP Program Directors in meeting and fulfilling ACGME requirements.

CCEP Training Programs


CCEP Fellowship Training Programs. The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) publishes an annual, detailed listing of available Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship programs in the United States, including contact information for program directors.

The Furman Fund Travel Scholarship


The Heart Rhythm Foundation is dedicated to keeping the legacy of Seymour Furman, MD, FHRS alive with The Furman Fund. The Furman Fund will award three travel scholarships to attend Heart Rhythm 2012, May 9-12, in Boston, MA through The Furman Travel Scholarship.
