What Are Co-Sponsored or Endorsed Programs?

The Heart Rhythm Society has a long history of endorsing high quality programs for the Pacing and EP communities that offer expert faculty and a discussion of relevant, timely topics. As a collaborator, the Heart Rhythm Society supports the planning of events that facilitate audience participation, interaction and learning; and program content that is generic, balanced and free of bias. We seek to collaborate with groups that design programs for a worldwide physician audience.

What Are The Benefits of an HRS Co-Sponsored or Endorsed Event?

  • Enhanced credibility for your event among target audiences
  • Increased registrations to your event
  • Your event may display promotional materials at various HRS events
  • Your event will be published on the HRS online calendar of events
  • You will receive an HRS member mailing list to mail promotional materials

What Is The Difference Between a Co-Sponsored Program and an Endorsed Program?

Co-Sponsorship
Offers CME category 1 credit. These credits are designated by an accredited provider other than the Heart Rhythm Society. If a co-sponsorship is approved, then the Heart Rhythm Society requires that all aspects of the program be in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Essential Areas, Elements, and Policies. The accredited provider designating the CME credits must ensure that those requirements are met.

Endorsement
No CME credits will be designated by either the Heart Rhythm Society or by the provider applicant.

What Are The Requirements to Have a Program Co-Sponsored or Endorsed?

Complete an HRS Co-Sponsorship/Endorsement Application.

With the application, please include:

  • Faculty list
  • Program Outline/Agenda
  • Evaluation tool
  • Signed statement of agreement (included in the application form)

Return completed application to the Heart Rhythm Society's CME Department:
