This 1¼ hour live webinar was moderated by Kenneth A. Ellenbogen, MD, FHRS and incorporated dynamic didactic presentations from leading physicians William G. Stevenson, MD, FHRS and Gerhard H. Hindricks, MD, Ph.D., respectively representing the writing committees from both the 2011 ACCF/AHA/HRS Focused Update on the Management of Patients with Atrial Fibrillation and the Guidelines for the management of atrial fibrillation by the Task Force for the Management of Atrial Fibrillation of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
The didactic presentations were intermixed with panel discussions and live audience Q&A, which permitted direct dialogue between the esteemed faculty members and the participating attendees.
