Program Overview
This clinical symposium is designed to provide clinicians with practical knowledge on the care and management of patients with CRT devices. Faculty with extensive experience and expertise will discuss aspects of cardiac imaging, optimization and non-response related to CRT.
Educational Objectives
- Identify two key measures that made an impact in the development of CRT
- Describe the role of echocardiography as it applies to CRT devices
- Define the term non-responder as it relates to patients with CRT devices
- Discuss the ethical considerations in turning off CRT devices and its impact on patients and families
- Discuss device settings at the time of implant and ways to optimize these settings
- Identify the positive benefits of CRT through interactive case study evaluation
Target Audience
Allied Health Professionals who are involved in the care of patients with CRT devices and want to enhance their knowledge of CRT concepts and systems.
