"Participating in Multi-Center Clinical Trials" will help you better understand the process for identifying and becoming involved in multi-institution clinical trials, including sources of grants and tips for obtaining NIH grants. The faculty panel will discuss the process of using clinical trial data for sub-study analysis and hypothesis-generating for future prospective trials.
WLI — Making the Most of Your First Five Years in EP

This session will help you identify the steps to building a strong foundation for careers in private practice or academic EP. A panel will discuss the process of setting career objectives and professional development plans, communicating effectively, identifying and using mentors effectively, and position yourself as an emerging leader in your institution and the EP community.
WLI — Setting Up a Successful EP Lab: Training, Management and Quality Assurance
Friday, May 16, 4:30–6:00 p.m.

This session will feature a faculty panel to present best practices in setting up an EP Lab, including infrastructure, staff selection, training and performance, QA programs, NCDR reporting requirements, efficiency and profitability, and contract/device negotiation. The session will allow participants to hear from successful female experts and participate in an extensive Q&A.
