FHRS Application Information for Allied Health Professionals
Application Process
- Completed applications from eligible candidates are considered by the Membership Committee.
- Please allow approximately four weeks for the Membership Committee to consider your request.
- Applications can be submitted throughout the year. However, to be considered for fellowship in time for induction at the 2013 Annual Scientific Sessions, your completed application (including letters of support) must be received by the Society no later than 11:59 p.m. [EST] on February 28, 2013. NOTE: The deadline for inclusion at the 2012 Induction has passed.

- A letter from you documenting how you meet the criteria below
- Two letters of support from current FHRS members
- A copy of your résumé/Curriculum Vitae
Eligibility Criteria
To meet the criteria for Fellowship in the Heart Rhythm Society as an Allied Health Professional, you must:
I. Hold current membership in the Heart Rhythm Society as an Allied Health Professional Member
II. Hold current IBHRE certification
III. Devote at least 75 percent of your clinical practice to heart rhythm disorders
IV. Show evidence of leadership by having completed at least one term among ONE of the following:
A. Two Heart Rhythm Society committees, sub-committees, working groups or taskforces
B. Heart Rhythm Society Board of Trustees
C. IBHRE Test Writing Committee
D. Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Sessions Program Committee
E. Chair of the Heart Rhythm Society AP Education Subcommittee
V. Have earned a Master's-level education degree or second IBHRE certification
VI. Have been the primary or contributing author for five publications, with at least two of them in peer-reviewed journals
