FHRS Application Information for Pediatric Cardiologists
Application Process
- Completed applications from eligible candidates are considered by the Membership Committee.
- Please allow approximately four weeks for the Membership Committee to consider your request.
- Applications can be submitted throughout the year. However, to be considered for fellowship in time for induction at the 2013 Annual Scientific Sessions, your completed application (including letters of support) must be received by the Society no later than 11:59 p.m. [EST] on February 28, 2013. NOTE: The deadline for inclusion at the 2012 Induction has passed.

- Signed FHRS Application for Pediatric Cardiologists
- A letter from you documenting how you meet the criteria below
- Two letters of support from current FHRS members
- A copy of your Curriculum Vitae
Eligibility Criteria
Note: Pediatric cardiologists who practice outside of the United States may also apply using the criteria for International Electrophysiologists.
To meet the criteria for Fellowship in the Heart Rhythm Society as a Pediatric Cardiologist, you must:
I. Hold current membership with the Heart Rhythm Society as a Physician member
II. Hold current certification in Pediatric Cardiology
III. Have had at least 12 months of training in a Pediatric EP fellowship or have begun Pediatric EP practice prior to January 1, 2000
IV. Hold current IBHRE certification
V. Devote at least 75 percent of your clinical practice to the treatment of heart rhythm disorders
