This category is complimentary to all physicians and scientists in training whose careers demonstrate a commitment to EP and/or pacing. Intellectual and professional integrity and a devotion to ongoing education are requisite characteristics. Affiliate applicants must either
- Submit a letter from their training program director to verify enrollment in a fellowship training program. This letter must include an estimated training completion date. Or,
- Submit a completed and signed Fellowship Confirmation Form (PDF, 74K).
Affiliate membership concludes immediately following completion of the fellowship program or after a maximum of two years, whichever comes first. Subsequently, the Affiliate membership is automatically converted to the Society’s Physician or Scientist category.
Affiliates have the same benefits and privileges of physician, scientist, and allied health professionals membership except eligibility to hold office and the right to vote for elected positions.
