Fellow
The Fellow category recognizes members who have realized significant professional achievement, provided exceptional service and are prominent in the field of cardiac arrhythmia research and treatment. This status is conferred to those individuals whose careers demonstrate an extensive commitment to cardiac electrophysiology, pacing and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Affiliate
Complimentary membership is available for qualified individuals with a MD, DO, or Ph.D. degree (or its equivalent) who are enrolled in an approved electrophysiology or cardiology fellowship training program
- Physician-in-Training — MD enrolled in ACGME training program or equivalent.
- Scientist-in-Training — Graduate student or postdoctoral fellow actively involved in research training.

Industry
Individuals employed by industry who are directly involved in education, research, engineering, and/or corporate leadership and not chiefly responsible for sales/marketing. Learn more about the membership dues, qualifications and requirements for the Industry category.
Emeritus
The Emeritus category is for individuals who are already Heart Rhythm Society members, have reached the age of 65, and/or have retired from active practice. If you meet these requirements and would like to learn more about Emeritus membership or would like to request a change in your membership status (written request is required), please contact the Membership Department.
