Nagib T. Chalfoun, MD, FHRS

After being granted Alpha Omega Alpha membership, Dr. Chalfoun received his M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson and completed his internal medicine residency at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. He then entered his cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY and was made Chief Fellow. He trained in electrophysiology at the University of Michigan and became a clinical lecturer there.

Dr. Chalfoun is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Michigan State College of Human Medicine and serves as Chair of the Education Committee for the Frederik Meijer Heart and Vascular Institute. He has published articles in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, and HeartRhythm and is particularly interested in atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablations.
