National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research continues to provide important life-saving discoveries in arrhythmia-related research. The Society advocates for federal funding of arrhythmia-related research at NIH’s National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute that keeps up with the pace of biomedical inflation and encourages health funding to promote research into cardiac arrhythmias and quality outcomes through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and the Department of Health and Human Services as a whole.
