Abstracts
All authors who submitted abstracts for presentations at Heart Rhythm 2008 were notified of their submission status by March 1.

ADA Statement
The Heart Rhythm Society supports the Americans with Disabilities Act. Anyone who needs special assistance should submit their requirements at the time of registration. The Heart Rhythm Society cannot ensure the availability of hotel and travel accommodations without prior notification of need.

Attire
Business dress is encouraged for all events at Heart Rhythm 2008. Comfortable shoes are a must! It is often difficult to control the temperature in large meeting rooms, so plan to dress in layers. Be prepared for rain in the event that forecasts call for precipitation.

Children
Due to limited seating capacity and the highly technical nature of the program, children are not invited to attend the Scientific Sessions. Under no circumstances will children under the age of 16 be allowed into the Technical Exhibit Hall. If you are interested in securing childcare during the conference, please call the concierge at your hotel for local childcare references.

Dietary Needs
If you have special dietary needs such as kosher or vegetarian, please be sure to check the appropriate box when registering. Special meals will not be available unless notification is given in advance.

Language
The official language of Heart Rhythm 2008 is English.

Late-Breaking Clinical Trials
The Heart Rhythm Society recognizes that some exciting and rapidly evolving research may not be concluded in time for the January 4 abstract submission deadline. In an effort to highlight timely and novel work at Heart Rhythm 2008, the Scientific Sessions Program Committee developed a peer-reviewed session of late-breaking trials that allows for later submission and more rapid presentation. The deadline was March 9, 2008.

Location
Most official sessions and events will be held at the Moscone Center, located at 747 Howard Street, San Francisco, California. Other functions may be held at the headquarters hotel, San Francisco Marriott, on 4th Street.
